Vote-by-Mail Ballots Mailed Out

JACKSONVILLE – Duval County Supervisor of Elections Jerry Holland announces that as of today, we have over 62,524 Vote-by-Mail Ballots mailed with 59,004 of those being domestic civilians and we have had over 17,818 ballots returned.

Vote-by-Mail refers to voting a ballot received by mail or picked up by, or for, a voter instead of going to the polls to vote during early voting or on Election Day. Any eligible voter can vote by mail.

If a voter plans to mail their ballot back to us, we recommend returning their ballot as soon as possible. This gives the voter time to address and correct a missing or mismatching signature on their vote-by-mail ballot. They can also drop their ballot off in person at our office during office hours or at early voting sites during early voting hours.

Their ballot must be received by the Supervisor of Elections office by 7:00 p.m. on Election Day, August 20th, for it to be counted.

If you have questions about the Primary, please visit our website at duvalelections.gov or call the Duval County Elections Office at 904-255-VOTE (8683).
