Public Logic and Accuracy Test Postponed to October 12 for 2024 General Election

JACKSONVILLE –Duval County Supervisor of Elections Jerry Holland invites the public to attend the Public Logic and Accuracy testing of our automated tabulating voting equipment at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2024. The previously scheduled event has been postponed due to the potential impact from Hurricane Milton.

This public pre-election test is required by Florida Statute 101.5612(2) ahead of the November 5 General Election. The public test verifies that the tabulators will correctly count votes cast.

The Public Logic and Accuracy test will be held inside the Duval County Elections Center at One Imeson Park Blvd., Building 100, Jacksonville, FL 32218. The public is welcome and is encouraged to attend because it is important that members of the community witness the accuracy and transparency of the process.

The Logic and Accuracy test is a random sample of one precinct tabulator (DS300) performed from each of the 14 Jacksonville City Council Districts, one tabulator (DS300) from an Early Voting site, and all four high-speed tabulators (DS950).

If you have questions, please visit our website at duvalelections.gov or call the Duval County Supervisor of Elections Office at 904-255-VOTE (8683).
