Ready, Get Set, and Vote! The 2024 Primary Election is Tuesday, August 20th.

JACKSONVILLE – Duval County Supervisor of Elections Jerry Holland wants to remind all eligible voters in Duval County that the Primary is coming up this Tuesday. The polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. on August 20, 2024, and you must vote at your assigned polling place. Your precinct is listed on your voter information card along with the location of the polling place. You can also find the address for your polling place on your sample ballot or at duvalelections.gov.

Florida is a closed Primary state which means that only voters registered within that political party may vote in that party’s Primary Election. However, there are contests for all voters during this Primary, including non-partisan races for judges and school board members.

Every voter must provide a current and valid photo identification and signature. A Florida Driver License, U.S. passport, military or student ID are just a few examples of acceptable identification. If your valid photo ID does not include your signature, you will be asked to provide another ID that has your signature.

If you have questions about the Primary Election, please visit our website at duvalelections.gov or call the Duval County Elections Office at 904-255-VOTE (8683).
